3:07 PM 12/20/2007 - Cortez now has 60 phrases. I found out that due to a coding error all of his messages were not being utilized, but everything should be running smoothly now. I'm glad the feature has become so popular! Keep the new suggestions for comments coming!
EDIT: New Article: Chat With Skulldust
An interview with Skulldust, creator of upcoming TS fan game TimeSplitters Mayhem. In the interview, we learn some new information about TSM's online play component, plans for the future, and inspiration.
6:57 PM 12/18/2007 - A new TimeSplitters fan game, TS Mayhem is being developed for PC by Skulldust Studios. Like Cob's TimeSplitters Gold, TS Mayhem will be a top-down 2D shooter made with GameMaker. It's really too early to compare the two, but in lieu of any foreseeable update to TSG (now being called My TimeSplitters), this game looks like it could potentially shape up into something great. The beta version of the game is due out on December 31st.
The only downside I can see is the lack of TS levels (the only level included in the beta will be Facility, which unfortunately is NOT a remake of the classic GoldenEye map). No MIDI versions of game tracks have been announced either. Still, I'm excited to play it. As new news arises, I'll be sure to update you.
Read about it here and go to the official website.
5:21 PM 12/17/2007 - Cortez now has 45 phrases. He still doesn't make sense about 50% of the time, but he's getting better. If this feature becomes more popular, I may consider making a Captain Ash or Harry Tipper Chat as well.
5:52 PM 12/15/2007 - Yet another new feature: Chat With Cortez
It's just based on a primitive JavaScript that randomly selects replies, but some of the conversations that ensue are hilarious nonetheless. Enjoy.
3:59 PM 12/11/2007 - We're just swimming in updates lately. I've just uploaded an interview with Ace, who holds more than 40 world records in TS. I hope everyone finds it fairly interesting just how he does it. I've also added a new reference to the Pop Culture References page courtesy of Shock Trooper.
Site move update: Expect it after Christmas now, during my Christmas break. I've got a few new features in the works that should prove interesting for the new site.
11:02 AM 12/9/2007 - I've added a new reference to the Pop Culture References page. Thanks to Duckman Drake for the new fact.
Also, there's finally some new news on TimeSplitters 4. In PSU's new interview with Derek Littlewood and Rob Yescombe of Free Radical Design, it is revealed that TS4 will likely run on the same core engine as Haze. Of course, since Haze hasn't been released yet, this doesn't tell us much, but my guess is that since Haze is FRD's first foray into the current-gen, the engine is probably what's been delaying Haze's release. Having an established engine already in place when FRD begins to develop TimeSplitters 4 is probably a good sign there won't be as many setbacks with it as there have been with Haze.

New Article: The Ross Tregenza Cutscenes
Apparently Ross Tregenza of Goteki fame re-recorded all the audio to some of the TSFP cutscenes for his resume. Read more and watch the cutscenes...
12:56 PM 12/1/2007 - I had completely forgotten that this site just recently passed its two-year anniversary! It doesn't seem like it's been that long, does it? Anyway, we've got some new interviews and other things coming up eventually, as well as a new domain name if I ever get the motivation.
7:33 PM 11/9/2007 - Well, how goes it, everyone? I'm finally going to buy hosting and a domain for this site this weekend, then we can finally get the ball rolling. I would have done it sooner if I had figured more people wanted it. ;)
3:25 PM 10/27/2007 - Here's some interesting news: There may be a TimeSplitters movie! Rob Yescombe, who writes dialouge and scripts for the TimeSplitters games, has written a full movie script for a TimeSplitters movie! No word yet on how serious he is on actually making a movie, but I imagine he'll have FRD's backing if he chooses to shop the script around Hollywood.

4:39 PM 10/13/2007 - Well, Midashost never did get back to me on hosting, so I need to find a different one. I can't afford much more than $25 a year for hosting, and maybe $5-7 for a domain. If anyone knows of some web hosts with these requirements, please feel free to share, because I'm lost on where to go from here.
In other news, we've got an exclusive interview with Cob, the creator of TSG that's just dying to be read. Click here. Thanks for all your support guys, even despite my infrequent updating.
3:38 PM 10/1/2007 - Some new news on TS4. Or more, specifically, some teaser art, consisting of a Monkey head pasted on a picture of Master Chief.
4:23 PM 9/28/2007 - Well, our new layout is officially complete. All that's left to do now is to actually buy a domain name and server, and move everything over there in the new format. As I've said before, I won't announce the name of the the site until the transition reaches completion. I also expect to convert our InvisionFree forum over to SMF. However, I have heard people have had problems in the past with getting InvisionFree to hand over their database. If that is the case, or if the database becomes somehow corrupted, we'll just start anew, and preserve past posts as a post-only archive, if possible. Oh, and I have several new articles waiting, but I'll reveal them when we make the move. Expect that to be very soon. Thanks for your continued support with this arduous process, guys!
4:45 PM 9/20/2007 - Our good friends at TS4.net have recently posted an interview with David Doak with new details about TS4. Doak says that TS4 is currently in development, but a lot is still uncertain. He doesn't completely rule out TS4 coming to all major consoles, either. Read more here.
3:32 PM 8/29/2007 - It's official - TimeSplitters Time Portal has outgrown Angelfire. I'm going to buy hosting from Midashost very soon for $25 a year unless anyone can give me a reason not to. I'll probably buy the domain name and hosting once I get the kinks completely worked out of the new CSS layout, then from there I'll start converting the site to the new layout. I'll think you'll be pleasantly surprised, but don't expect the new layout for a while yet: I won't reveal our domain name here until all major pages have been converted.
8:39 PM 7/14/2007 - Well guys, how goes it? For the past couple of days I've been looking at the code for numerous web pages, and I've decided it's time to bring the TimeSplitters Time Portal into the 21st century. Yes, that means DIV tags, CSS, and the whole shebang. I've figured that part of the reason this site fails to attract many long-time visitors is because it looks, and let's be honest here, like it's from the year 1996. And it would have been a damn good page back then, but the Time Portal looks like it should be some long dead site archived on archive.org rather than a content packed gaming site. So I've decided it's time for a major overhaul. Anyone who's experienced in web design or graphics and would like to help out, feel free to contact me. Oh, and we'll be introducing some brand new sections too (fan art, interviews, and the like) so be sure to check back frequently. This time I'll update the site from behind the scenes instead of taking the whole thing down for a week, so downtime should be kept to an absolute minimum. Thanks for your support, everyone! Stay tuned.
12:54 PM 7/12/2007 - I've added an article about sightings of Free Radical's employees at numerous TS forums across the Net. Check it out here. We're also going to change the navigation once again, to just have one link to articles rather than links to each set of articles. By the way, I'd love to get some people in here to write some articles, so if you're interested go ahead and contact me at my e-mail address or through the forums. Thanks for your support, everyone, and check back often for more news on TimeSplitters 4.
4:11 PM 7/1/2007 - TimeSplitters 4 has been confirmed! A short article was printed in the Official PS3 Magazine. There were no specifics mentioned, other than FRD is "gearing up to insert monkeys and guns into all the wrong places." The logo printed with the story is an obvious spoof of the Gears of War logo with a monkey head in the center. The game is rumored to be a PS3 exclusive. Chances are the game will be announced for other platforms soon. I'll keep you updated as the story develops.
View a scan of the story here. - Read the story here.
8:55 PM 6/25/2007 - I finally updated the format of the Second Sight pages and fixed the links to "Home" on the navigation bar. Thanks to those of you who still drop by on occasion!
Things on the to-do list by the end of July
Complete revision of TS2 Weapons page (it's almost been a year now)
Complete Second Sight Profile pages
Start a page on Haze and possibly Free Radical Design
EDIT: We now offer the TimeSplitters font used on many of our pages for download! Here it is!
10:22 AM 6/2/2007 - Sorry about the complete lack of updates lately. I've been really busy. On another note, I've added what may be the best piece of TS merchandise yet to our TS Merchandise page: a TS2 PS2! Check it out.
4:01 PM 5/15/2007 - Archived news, added revisions to Mutant1988's Mapmaker Tips and Tricks.
3:28 PM 4/14/2007 - I've updated the Link To Us page so that the banners reflect our new name.
7:34 PM 4/28/2007 - JxFlipside has agreed to let the Time Portal host the Box Art article from TimeSplitters Resource since it's closing, and here it is!. Coming soon: archived FRD site pictures. They seem to have taken them off the site. Luckily, I had most of them, so I'll be putting all of those up.
5:23 PM 4/11/2007 - Mutant1988 has submitted an excellent article on how to use the map logic and triggers to create some really cool objects and effects, such as trees, a cash system, and more! Check it out here!
4:48 PM 4/6/2007 - We have officially changed our name to the TimeSplitters Time Portal! The new banners will gradually be replacing the old Scourge's Realm banners throughout the site. Hopefully this will be our final name change. I look forward to the TTP's future!
10:31 AM 4/3/2007 - Have you noticed the new banners? I've got everything but the new banner for the new site name up, and I'll be doing that today. Also, I've began to reorganize the profile pages for your convenience. Stay tuned.
4:09 PM 3/29/2007 - More character sounds added, including Dr. Lancet, Mr. Giggles, and Mr. Socky! Even more TSFP sounds effects are on the way soon. Keep checking in to the Downloads page.
4:14 PM 3/27/2007 - I've done a bit of minor updating. We now link to the TSG soundtrack, available from our Downloads page. More coming soon, including new additions to our profile page, the most popular page on our site!
EDIT: A few of the character sounds are now available on the Downloads page, exclusively at Scourge's Realm, including Captain Ash, Hans, and Harry Tipper. Check it out!
3:57 PM 3/4/2007 - All of the TS articles have been reformatted. You can also play Snake directly through our site now, and we have some new articles and pics on the way. The older news pages have also been fixed, so the link at the bottom of this page should work. This is the beginning of new and bigger things for the Realm, so sit tight and enjoy the ride.
12:57 PM 3/3/2007 - Well, we're back. How do you like it? Most of the TS articles have been reformatted, although the Profiles and SS articles still need work that will be completed in the next week or so. I decided that it would be best to get the site up again as soon as possible. Consider "Scourge's Realm" as a tentative name until I create some new banners. Thanks for your patience!
8:14 PM 2/27/2007 - There's some new changes coming for the Realm very soon. Expect some downtime this weekend starting late Friday or early Saturday while I perfect give the site a much needed facelift. Come Monday this will be a whole new site, ready to run with the big dogs. I'll warn you guys again a day before the whole thing begins so you can bookmark the forums, which will remain up while I tinker with the site.
4:37 PM 2/24/2007 - We are now linking to The Wayback Machine's archived pages of some of the old articles from TimeFall.com on the TimeSplitters page under TimeSplitters 2 for your viewing pleasure. I would host them here directly, but there may be potential copyright problems otherwise. Also, a few more articles have been reformatted and revised to look more "clean." We are also considering changing the site name again in the near future, so stay tuned.
4:08 PM 2/18/2007 - I've just gotten done writing up an article on TimeSplitters merchandise that's been found across the Internet. Read more here.
12:52 PM 2/14/2007 - I've updated and revised Buddybot's old article Putting Names On TimeSplitters Weapons. Check it out.
3:35 PM 2/6/2007 - I've created a forum for reader comments in the forums and put a link to the comment threads in every article that applies. Guests, you can post there too, so feel free to drop in and say a few words.
6:22 PM 1/27/2007 - I've written a eulogy for TimeSplitters. I'm not giving up the site, don't worry. Although, who's reading this? If you are, post about the "eulogy" in the forums! Also, I'm changing the formatting of the articles.
3:53 PM 1/18/2007 - Well, happy 2007 everyone! I've been rather busy lately, making a website for TimeSplitters Gold , the first and only (as far as I know) TimeSplitters game for PC. Still a bit on the glitchy side, but I like it. Anyway, go check it out. I know it's been a while since I've added any new content, since I've mainly been messing around with the layout, but that's all done now! So long for now.
EDIT: Review of cob's TimeSplitters Gold game up. Yes, I wrote a new article. So much for that, huh?
