The Grotbags series or ''Grotbags World'' as some call it aired in 1991 till 1993. Each episode was a story about Grotbags and her life at Gloomy Fortress, her castle with her
lodgers. The stories were about their day to day lives and the blunders and situations they got in and the odd monster that would get in too!.
All in all the series had 5 seasons and were broadcast on a wednesday on Childrens ITV. The series has Audiences over 11 million!!!

-A Nightmare On Grotty Street
Grotbags Niece PD comes to stay when Grotbags is having nightmares.
-Miss Maple Syrip Solves It
The gang are playing a murder mystery game and it's the 83rd time Dorris has won!
Grotbags is upset as she wants to be like one of her heroes Miss Maple Syrip, a super sleuth detective.
Soon after Dorris's feather wax goes missing Grotbags sees a perfect chance to solve the crime and prove that
she is just as good at solving crimes.

Colin throws a wild rave with his bat friends when Grotbags is on holiday.On Grotbags return she is convinced by her housemates Colin has Rabies,
only to discover his foaming at the mouth is actually cake mix from Dorris's baking!
-The Revenge of Hogzilla
When bringing in the milk and spell bottles, Dorris mixes them up and thinking she has given Horris hedgehog
his milk she has actually given him size expanding spell and hedgehog grows into a giant and goes on rampage.
Grotbags saves the day by using her own homemade spell to undo the ready made bottled one. She shrinks Horris
back down but forgets about how the sparrows like to peck the tops off her so-called "milk" bottles!
-As Nice As Pie
To win a competition in the Bagshire gazette Grotty and Dorris make magic pies.
One pie will turn Dorris extra nice and the other will make Grotbags extra nasty
but "which witch pie is which witch pie?" soon after eating them Dorris turns dangerous belting
Grotbags with a feather duster and Grotty scarpers so Colin and Norman consume the rest of the pies.
A reporter comes calling and a nasty Colin hurls himself at the man to which Norman ends up being given the
prize for being the nicest person in Bagshire much to his disgust and Grotbags shock.
-Blind Fate
Dorris joins a dating agencey to find a soul mate. Feeling sorry for Dorris, Colin pretends to be the do do of her dreams by sending her love letters.
-Grotty Hood Prince Of Tea Leaves
Grotbags resorts to burgulary after loaning money from gangster ghouls to pay for her new dress.
-The Ginger Fear Plant
A ginger beer plant hoards Grotbags and the houseguests hostage in the cellar.After buying the plant from a gypsy Grotty sees a way to getting free ginger beer,
only to discover the plants may be cursed and will have Grotbags making ginger beer forever!
-The Teddington Yeti
On a dark stormy night after Grotbags sends her poor gang on a picnic they return home soaked and to frighten them even more Grotbags tells them a ghost story.
They one by one dissappear and Grotbags is convinced a yeti has followed them from the mountains so she offers herself as bait to the beast.
-Tissue Tissue All Fall Down
Dorris challenges Grotbags to build a better card house. Grotty resorts to cheating
and places a sneezing on Colin so he will sneeze down Dorris's card house.
The spell however is so strong Colin sneezes the house roof in and during a thunder
storm the gang get soaked.
-To Build A Better Brat Trap
The fortress has been over taken with mice and traps are going off everywhere.
Grotbags comes up with an idea of building a trap to catch brats in that she can sell to other witches
to rid the world of brats, but Grotty makes them invisble so brats won't see them. After forgetting where
she left them everyone who says the word "toffee" gets snapped by one and when the gang get some toffee
the whole house is getting snapped up!
Trivia- The bat used for the Hompage Link was actually the logo Grotbags had on her chair in the series!
- Brats were victims to Carol Lee Scott's trickery when she appeared as Auntie Kipplewick in numerous episodes and hardly anyone recognised her without green make up!
