-;-Behind Blue Eyes Chapter Seven-;-

"UGH!" Kevin though his hands up in frustration. "This is hopeless!" Brian looked up from his computer with interest. Kevin's voice took on a childish tone as he began to complain to him about how the library had nothing on Andrew Cartelle. Inwardly, Brian grinned. He found plenty, the reason Kevin had nothing was because Brian had taken the news films that he needed.

"Forget it Kev," Brian started.

"I wo-"

"Kev, I found what we need..."

"Oh. Well, than..."

"Let's get the guys..."

"But how did you...And I didn't..."

"I got the news films first Kev."

"Oh..." Kevin, clearly confused shrugged it off and went with Brian to find the guys, who were on book duty. Each obviously failed. AJ was talking to a skimpy redhead, Nick was engulfed in a Stephen King novel, and Howie was curled up on a comfy looking couch reading a book of poetry.

After dragging AJ away from the girl and ripping the book from Nick's hands, the guys went to get Howie.

"You know something? Gimme that back!" Nick snatched the book back from Brian's hands. Brian laughed as Nick began reading where he left off and walking at the same time.

After running into numerous people, poles, and bookcases, Nick finally marked his place, and continued walking.

Brian laughed, "Blondes..."

"Shedup!" Was Nick's reply.

Kevin walked up to Howie and tapped him on the shoulder. "Thanks for helping D., you and AJ and Nick did nothing to find anything. Me and Brian found what we need. Did you even TRY to find something on Andrew Cartelle?"

"I did find something." Howie said not taking his eyes from the book.

"Yeah? What?" AJ asked.

Howie held up the book, it was entitled, Poetry by Andrew Cartelle.

"See?" Howie grinned knowingly, "And...I found something quite interesting...." He looked directly at Nick. "You'd agree."

"Would I?" Nick asked half confused, half annoyed.

"I think you would. If you look here," Howie indicated a poem, then read aloud:

'If dreams, are actually wishes, then what are dreams?'

"As you can clearly see, there's a few certain poems here that you said you wrote, showed to us, and took credit. But Andrew actually wrote them. Therefore, you knew about Andrew, found the book and copied the poems. Am I correct?"

"No."

"Then what's you explanation?"

"Brian, print out what you found, and take out the poem book and this one." Nick said handing the poem book and the book he was reading to Brian. "When we go home, I'll explain. I also need to tell you guys something else."

Brian raised his eye brows, but obeyed. After he came back, the guys piled into the car, eager to learn what Nick had to say. None of them objected.

AJ, Brian, Kevin, and Howie quietly took there seats in the pallor as Nick paced the room.

First off..." Nick began," I didn't copy those poems, and second, I really truly never knew he existed. Third..." He paused and looked at the guys, "Third is another story."

"Meaning...?" Howie asked.

"Meaning I got the poems from dreams. I saw me, no, Andrew rather, at the time I thought it was me, now I understand why, I, or he, was dressed old-fashioned, anyway, I saw him reciting the poems. Thus, thinking it was me, I wrote them down. The other thing...the thing I've been wanting to tell you is this....Last night, after Kevin let us go back to bed, I went online and did some of my own research. What I found though, I didn't like.

"Thinking it over now, I don't think it's true. A lot of things on the Internet are indeed a fallacy. But, you never know."

"Well, Nick? Are you gonna tell us or not?" AJ said anxiously.

"In order to rid the house of Andrew, I must complete the concert..." He started.

"No shit Sherlock..."

"AJ..." Kevin warned.

Nick continued, "But after the concert, I-" He paused then decided to just blurt it out, "I must die like Andrew did."
