-;-Behind Blue Eyes Chapter Eight-;-

Four shocked faces stared at Nick as he stood in front of the fire place. Brian was first to brake the silence.

"In order-" He started slowly, "to get rid of Andrew, you have to-" At this he paused- "die?"

Nick nodded, "Just like he died."

"We don't really need to get rid of him do we? I sort of like his company." AJ said, his voice on edge.

"Yeah, yeah," Howie nodded, "he's not so bad after you get to know him right?"

Kevin laughed nervously, "Are you sure Nick?" Reaching under the sofa Nick revealed three typed pages and handed them to Kevin.

"See for yourself." Cautiously, Kevin read through the pages and handed them to Brian. AJ and Howie read over his shoulder. He placed them in his lap when he finished and heaved a sigh.

"Well, I think we all know, first hand, that a lot of things on the Internet are fake, so," Kevin paused to think, "we shouldn't jump to conclusions about this. Listen, let's just drop it for now. Brian got a lot of information at the library. Let's just review it."

Nick nodded and finally took a seat. Brian took out the pages of research he found from his backpack and set them on the coffee table. He pointed to a list on one sheet of paper. "These are the songs he performed, they were all published so we should be able to find the sheet music in almost any music store." He pointed to another paper. "These are the order of the songs that he played, the guest list, and the orchestra that played behind him," He then pulled out three sheets of paper from under the pile, "and this, this is his family tree. And this name here, is, as you can see, is Nick's. So someone has been updating this."

"Which just means," Howie said thoughtfully, "that someone knows about Andrew because..."

"Because my family tree that I know of hasn't gone back this far." Nick stated.

"Yes, that and also, this person could know a lot about it and might know if Nick really has to die or not."

"Good thinking D.!" AJ exclaimed, "Just now, how do we find this person?"

"Easy- Brian, do you have the address as to where you found this information?" Howie questioned.

"Yeah, it's right here." Brian gave Howie the information and they five of them hustled to Nick's computer. Typing in the web address, Brian searched through the site. As it turned out; the owner of the site, a women by the name of Gwenivere Raven Matiscalco, was infatuated with Andrew's ghost among others. People who had wandered into the Cartelle grounds and into the house reported their ghost sightings and it somehow found it's way to Gwenivere who investigated the house. And the very bottom of the updating list were these words in which Brian read aloud. "Unfortunately, the Cartelle house is now inhabited by what maybe a decedent or just a normal buyer. I would like to set up an interview with them but due to fact that they have not been in the house long; I don't want to bother them." Underneath it was yet another update. "Checking up on the house I saw what looked like Andrew Cartelle. I thought it was his ghost but a closer look determined it wasn't. I believe it is his decent Nickolas (Last name unknown though possibly Cartelle). I will try to speak with him soon." Brian sat back. "Well, she's been here, we know that. Spying I'll say. Do you guys see a E-mail address? Maybe we can talk to her?"

AJ leaned over Brian and searched though the site again. "There!" He pointed to a link with her E-mail address.

"Please move Bri." Nick said and Brian got up leaving the seat to Nick. Who began to type out a E-mail:

Dear Gwenivere Raven Matiscalco,

Recently, My four friends and I moved into Andrew Cartelle's house. It is I who you saw. My name is Nickolas Gene Carter, decedent of Andrew. While exploring the attic, or what I thought was the attic, I found a staircase that lead to another floor, on that floor was a huge grand piano, learning to play the piano by my grand father, I began to play it, soon unfolding the mystery of Andrew. My friends and I have had quit a few encounters with Andrew and decided to go to library to find information about Andrew and how to get rid of him. We already knew he needed to finish the concert he died in, which is to be played through me, but we needed the song names and more information. Thus, my friend Brian, came across your site. Since you know much about him, I've decided to E-mail you in hopes you can help us in this dilemma: In order to free Andrew's spirit, as I've already stated, he needs to finish his concert through me, but the problem is, at the end, it is said I must die like Andrew did. I'd like to meet with you in hopes you can clear this up and help us.

Thank you,

Nickolas Gene Carter

He sent the letter and sat back. "Now all we do is wait."

It was nearly two weeks before they heard anything. Nick had finally fully forgiven Kevin and things were as normal as they could be, or as much as it could be considering the fact that there was a ghost in the house of a popstar.

"Hey you guys!" Nick came bounding down the stairs waving a piece of paper in his hand, "I got a E-mail back from that Gwenivere chick!"

"Really?" Howie asked, his head rose from the pillow he was laying on, on the floor. He and the others were just about to give up on her. "Can I see?"

"I'll read it to you." Nick waited till the guys crowed around then started: " 'Dear Mr. Carter, I am very happy you choose my website and I as you problem solver for your dilemma. I will be happy to help you. However, I am still weary of who you are. I've received many E-mails of people saying they lived in or were involved with many of the ghost on my site and they weren't. Yet since this is the first I've received of Andrew's, I'll agree to meet you. Next Wednesday, meet me at the Cafe du Solie at one P.M.. Bring your friends, any information you have, and proof you are who you say you are. Please send and E-mail back stating you will be attending. Thank you. Signed Gwen.' " He paused, "I sent her the E-mail. We're going, but what should I bring to prove I live here?" The boys thought for a moment, then Howie spoke up:

"Yourself." The others looked at him oddly, "You look like Andrew, thus she will see you really are his decedent!"

Kevin nodded, "He's right, wow Howie, your really racking up these ideas lately! Good job bro!" Howie beamed with pride and the others laughed at his childish smirk.

"That's right!" AJ said jokingly, "Good job Howie!"

"Ah, yes, my adoring fans!"

"Oh brother," laughed Brian, "we've created a monster!"
