The New Kolb Aircraft Factory in London, Ky. Arival here was a dream come true!

Loading the crate on my friend Doug's car trailer. Thanks Doug! Doug is building a Kolb Firestar,so we actually picked up two planes on that trip. He's also the guy who talked me into taking the plung to start this project.

Tearing into the crate at my duplex. Fun stuff! The big tube to the left contains all of the raw tubing stock.

Side view of the crate. That's the steel fuselage cage. It's been powder coated. Money well spent.

Okay. The plane has been unlaoded. The first thing you gotta do is sit in it and imagine the day you will be able to fly it for real - 100's of hours and thousands of dollars later.
