Safety

There is a old saying "Safety is Everyone’s business" that statement never holds so much truth as when your talking about hunting. Hunting can be a very dangerous activity, many factors can determine whether you have a safe fun time or a tragic one. Safety in hunting involves many things, and there are many things we can do as individuals to insure a safe time for everyone.

Safety starts as soon as you leave the house, it continues as you drive to the woods and continues the whole time you are hunting. Always be alert when hunting and be mindful of the other hunters in the woods. Below are a few safety issues i feel are important and although they are many more safety concerns too numerous to mention on this page.

Gun Safety

Guns indeed are dangerous but with a little common sense and following a few simple rules your next hunt can be safe and enjoyable

Tree Stand Safety

Every year many hunters are injured and some even die from falling from their tree stands. Tree stand safety is just as important as gun safety with the heights hunters climb to with the modern equipment we have available to us today. Below is a short check list to help you remain safe in the stand
