Coronation Block
The Coronation Block shares walls with the Hussey Block and both buildings were constructed in 1901-1902 using sandstone from the St. Mary's River.
It was first used to house retail and merchant shops and later on housed a variety of Clubs, boarding rooms and finally converted to apartments.
The building itself is a marvel of it's time and showcases the orginal creativity of the City's numerous architects. It is registered national heritage site.
Alleged reports are mysterious footsteps, mist, and sounds of a violin.
