Stalin’s Russia

After Lenin die in 1924, a power struggle erupted in the Communists party.  Leon Trotsky and Joseph Stalin were the main rivals for the power.  Trotsky created the red army that defended the Bolsheviks The Bolshevik party was led by Joseph Stalin.  By 1928 Stalin emerged leader.  Trotsky was exiled to Mexico where Stalin later ordered him to be assassinated because of Stalin’s very bad case of Paranoia.  In 1936 Stalin made a constitution called the Stalin Constitution.  The constitution preserved the Soviet Government.   Stalin was the head of the Communist party so he held Dictatorial power. Stalin and Hitler came to an agreement not to attack each other by forming a non-aggression pact. Which was later betrayed by Hitler.
