Elder Darwin Randolph is the founder and acting Pastor of Living Word Ministries Church Of God in Christ. The official Pastoral Installation took place on Friday, August 29, 1997. Under the leadership and guidance of Elder Darwin Randolph the church commenced on a mission to reach souls in an innovative way through "A Living Word.". The name came through a vision to Elder Darwin Randolph "Living Word Ministries Church Of God In Christ." The members agreed with the name because it described the main purpose of the ministry which is to share "a living word with a dying world."

Since the church was a newly conceived ministry, the members met in various locations which included: the Club House, the Days Inn, Carver Recreational Center, Taylor Funeral Home and Glenwood Recreational Center. Success came to these worship sessions through much prayer and organization. The Pastor and the members always knew that whatever obstacles we faced could be overcome by faith, prayer, praise and worship. The church was blessed with a beautiful building which is listed on the National Historical Register. The building, which is one hundred and two years old, was constructed for the Trinity Methodist Episcopal congregation in 1899 and later sold to Tucker Baptist. Once again, Pastor Randolph heard the voice of God saying, "Don't just buy the property but own the property." After less than two years of existence and less than a year in the church the Living Word Ministries purchased the building.

The membership of the Living Word Ministries Church Of God In Christ is continually growing. We are reaching out to the our community through Solemn Assemblies, Joshua Conferences, Amour Bearer Conferences etc and other communities through tools such as the "Miami Healing the Hurt Crusade" Our most recent undertaking has been the remodeling of our sanctuary and renovating part of the building into a new office for our Pastors. This was completed with the help of God and our Destiny Partners. We continue to thrive and grow through our faith in God. Our blessings and miracles continue to be abundant through our speaking them into existence.
