ATTORNEY JOHN READ'S PAPERWORK
The attached documents are the response made by attorney John H. Read II, to my complaint to the bar. I can send you a copy of one (of several) subpoena's filed. month's after Sharif had filed subpoena's (with the help of his family). John Read tried to cover his ass by offering to file subpoenas to try and obtain security camera footage, phone records, financial records etc., that would expose Cathy Hawkin's as a liar and debunk the prosecution's theory.
John Read then rewrote some (not all) of the subpoenas Sharif had originally filed, placing his own name on the subpoenas so it would look like he was doing his job. Some of the subpoenas Sharif had originally filed, John Read DID NOT rewrite before serving. Why wouldn't Attorney Read want to try and get all the evidence available to prepare the best defense?
We can talk more but this guy works for the state and couldn't care less about the defendants he is appointed to represent, which is more typical than not of court-appointed attorneys.
