Biography
"I am a native of Dallas, Texas. I graduated from Skyline High School, Prairie View A&M University and Indiana University School of Law.
I am licensed to practice law in the State of Texas, the Northern District of Texas Federal Courts, and in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in New Orleans, Louisiana.
I am a former Dallas and Ellis County Assistant District Attorney and a former Dallas County Assistant Public Defender. I have served as Special Prosecutor to other counties.
I have experience as a former Assistant Texas State Auditor in Austin, Texas and as an Assistant Grant, Contract & Loan Administrator for Indiana State University, in Terre Haute, Indiana.
I am very involved in my son's athletic activities and his school's PTA. I also provided public service through my church and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc."
