I define photoart as an artform that uses the photograph as a basis for creative imagery.

The conceptual nature of photoart and the advent of digital technology allow the artist creativity that not long ago was impossible.

I feel that ultimately, no matter what creative method is used, an artist must be comfortable with the result of his labor. What it takes to achieve this satisfaction changes over time and that, to me, is the beauty of the adventure.
