Off-limits . . .

Sandra Bacon has finally found a boy to love. Manuel Lopez is kind, sensitive, and handsome, and he cares about Sandra as much as she cares about him.
But there is one problem: Sandy’s parents don’t approve of Manuel. So the couple must keep their love and precious moments a secret.
The eyewitnesses place Manuel at the scene of a life-threatening accident, and sandy can clear his name. If she tells the truth, she may lose her parents trust and love; but if she doesn’t, she will certainly lose Mauel forever.

“I just can’t go on like this, Sandy. I understand you’re afraid to talk to your parents, but it isn’t right. If you really loved me, you’d confront them,” Manuel said.
Sandra’s eyes filled with tears. “This isn’t the right time. It’s just that I need more time!”
“yeah.” A trace of bitterness crept into Manuel’s voice. “That’s what you’ve been saying for weeks, Sandy. I don’t think your’e ever going to be ready to confront them.”
Sandra grabbed his arm, her eyes filled with panic. “Are you trying to tell me that you want to break up?”
“It isn’t up to me,” Mauel said sadly. “Sandy, I love you, but I need to feel that you respect me. Enough to tell everyone we’re going out instead of hiding it!”
Sandra’s eyes filled with tears. “Can’t you give me just a little more time?” she pleaded.
Manuel frowned. “I’ve waited, Sandy. I’ve been patient. Now it’s your turn.” And with that he turned and walked away.
