Excerpt:
"We've got to stop meeting like this!" popped onto his screen after a minute of silence.
"And meet in real life?" Typed Ken eagerly.
The moment he hit enter, Ken realized the enormity of what he'd done. He wanted to hold Freeverse, to kiss her for real. What if she didn't want to? Or worse, what if they met in person and the cyberspark had flickered out? He held his breath and waited.
Aparently Freeverse was feeling the same doubts. "What if meeting in person means the end for us?" she asked.
"I hope it doesn't, but it seems like we've got to find out sooner or later," he said. "Do you really think it will be totally different, talking face-to-face?"
"I don't know," she said. "But I guess it's time to try. We have to know if this is for real."
