It's not like Larissa hasn't told me all about her HUGE CRUSH on Toby.
And it's not like I don't know exactly how it FEELS when your friends go BEHIND your back.
So all I have to do is IGNORE how much I like Toby.
And the fact that he likes me too.

"Okay, here's what I'm thinking." Larissa smiled slyly. "You start hanging out more with Toby, and then you drop in a few questions here and there. Nothing to obvious. Just real subtle stuff to see if he likes me."
"I don't know . . . " I kept my voice neutral, but I was really feeling anything but neutral.
"It shouldn't be a problem getting info out of him," Larissa continued. "You guys get on great. He would definately confide in you."
"Yeah, I guess," I replied.
"So what do you say?" Larissa poked me with the end of her Bic. "Perfect plan, huh?"
Right then I just wanted to pick up my books and run. Far away from study hall and far away from Larissa and Toby. But Larissa was my friend. And I had promised myself I would get over my crush on Toby. So now I had to prove it.
:Yeah, it's a perfect plan," I agreed.
