They say that Falling for the Same guy is the Ultimate test of friendship.
Maria, Elizabeth, and I Did - and we got through it. But I'm scared there's a Much harder test...
And We're headed right for it.

"You guys aren't going to believe it," Tia began, "I met with Mr. Nelson this morning, and he told me that I was nominated for the Senate scholarship! Can you beleve it?" Tia waited for her friends to explode into excitement with her, but instead they both just stared at her.
"Hel-lo?" Tia shook her head. "I'm not talking about some fifty-dollar scholarship here - this is the Senate scholarship," she repeated, "and I've been nominated! Isn't that great?"
"Yeah." Elizabeth nodded, avoiding Tia's gaze. "It is. Relly." She split her orange in two, then glanced back up at Tia. "Congratulations."
"Yeah, congratulations, Tia," Maria echoed in an equally unenthusiastic tone.
Tia gaped at both of her friends. "Wow, you better be careful," she said. "I wouldn't want you to choke on all that excitement."
"I said congratulations," Elizabeth muttered, sliding her orange aside and focusing her attention on her salad instead.
"I know you said congratulations," Tia told Elizabeth. "You both did, " she added, turning to Maria. "I guess I just thought you guys would be a little more excited for me, that's all."
"You're right. I'm sorry, Tia," Maria said, reaching across the table and touching her friend's arm. "I guess I was just a little caught off guard. See, there's something I have to tell you. Um, I was nominated too."
