Playing favourites . . .

All the girls in Elizabeth and Jessica's sixth-grade class are about to explode! Mr. Davis, their new teacher, is giving all the good assignments to the boys and treating the girls as if they were less than human. And now, the boys are even beginning to think they really are better than the girls!
Something definately has to be done. Led by Elizabeth and Jessica, the girls come up with a surefire plan to teach the teacher and all the boys a lesson they will never forget!

The Worst!

The softball team gathered around Mr. Davis. His face was red, and he looked very upset.
"That was terrible!" he yelled. "I thought you were supposed to be such a good team! And you were leading! What happened out there?"
"It was those stupid girls," Charlie said angrily. "We could have won that game easily."
"Well, that's how girls play," Mr. Davis replied. "The real question is, why are they on the team?"
"Yeah!" yelled one of the boys, and then all of them were nodding.
Elizabeth and Jessica looked at each other, aghast. Had they already forgotten that the girls were their most valuable players?
"We've got one entire week to practice for the final game," said Mr. Davis. "But there's only one way we can win."
He paused and glanced meaningfully at the boys. "We're taking all the girls off the team."
