Identical twins Elizabeth and Jessica are delighted when their cousin Robin comes to Sweet Valley for a visit. They can't wait for Robin to meet their friends - and maybe even find a date for the Girls-Ask-Boys Dance at Sweet Valley Middle School.

"Come on, stop acting so innocently, Elizabeth," Robin said. "You deliberatly stole my boyfriend."
Elizabeth was completely dumbfounded. What was Robin talking about? Stealing her boyfriend? Since when was Todd Robin's boyfriend?
Wait a minute . . . Elizabeth thought about all the clues Robin had given her and Jessica about her mystery boy: brown eyes, dark hair, a great athlete . . . first name was only one syllable. "Todd?" she whispered.
"Yes, Todd," Robin said angrily.
"But I didn't know - I thought you liked somebody else - but not - never -"
Robin laughed. "Nice try, Elizabeth. You knew Todd was the only guy I ever liked! And now you're flirting with him, trying to get him to like you more than he likes me. Well, it's not going to work, so you might as well give up."
"Give - give up?" Elizabeth stammered.
"Todd's mine," Robin said. "You're not going to steal him from me. I'm not going to give him up without a fight, and as far as I'm concerned, from now on it's war between us!"
