Alright, there's lots of people who probably will read this and some people will agree and some will be totally disgusted with what I have to say, but hear me out. I think that the album is great...good melodies, the guys are growing in vocals and song arrangement for sure. Their song writing is also top notch. However, the album is not the best album they've done...it's actually not the best album to be released this year. I believe that the group will be hippocrates to say that they are not a boyband anymore...because guess what? They officially are. Being such a huge fan who is used to the group's notable slow jams and easy going style kind of ruined me. I thought the guys were into making quality songs to show their appreciation for music, "Revelation" has alot of songs that are very commercial and it's not the true 98° style. The best song on the album is probably the best song they've ever done, "Yesterday's Letter"...thought I think the song should have a different name seeing the words "yesterday's letter" don't really have too much meaning to the song other than the fact that there was a letter written yesterday. "He'll Never Be (What I Used to be to You)" is also a quality song in general...well produced, good vocals, but WAY too different from anything they've done. And one song that doesn't even belong on the cd is "Dizzy". No offense guys but you can stop with that kind of stuff while you're ahead. If you own the new Boyz II Men cd just take a listen to track #4, "Bounce, Shake, Move, Swing". It's just something that does not belong on the album. Now it sounds like I'm really knocking the album but it really is good. I'd rate it probably the fourth best to be released in 2000, behind "The Source Hip Hop Awards 2000", "Nathan, Michael, Shawn, Wanya" by Boyz II Men, and the best album of the year so far "Fear of Flying" by Mya.
