14 "The King of Thieves" Season Premiere!: Iolaus is accused of a theft that was actually comitted by Autolycus. Hercules must capture the King of Thieves in order to save his friend from being executed.
NOTES: First appearance by Bruce Campbell as Autolycus, the King of Thieves.
15 "All That Glitters": A cautionary tale on the dangers of excess greed.
Hercules finds King Midas' kingdom in the grip of a greedy casino owner. He must find a way to break the power of the Golden Touch Casino before the kingdom falls.
16 "What's In A Name?": Hercules is reunited with his estranged mortal half-brother, Iphicles. There's only one problem; Iphicles is impersonating him!
NOTES: Special guest star Kevin Smith as Iphicles. Kevin also plays Ares in HTLJ and XWP.
17 "The Siege At Naxos": Hercules and Iolaus capture a barbarian chieftan named Goth, and hole up in an abandoned fort on the island of Naxos. When Goth's buddies come to free him, our two heroes must somehow make the barbarians believe that there is an army guarding the fort.
18 "The Outcast": Lucy Lawless reappears as Lyla, a woman who is persecuted because of her Centaur husband. Featuring the appearance of the "Cretins", sort of the KKK of Ancient Greece.
19 "Under the Broken Sky": Hercules plays Cupid to a forlorn farmer and his alluring wife, who ran away to work in a "sin bin" after the death of their two children. Special guest star Robert Trebor as Salmoneus. He invents "happy hour".
20 "The Mother of All Monsters": First appearance by Echidna, the Mother of All Monsters.
A man named Demetrius romances Alcmene, manipulating her to get at Hercules, and help Echidna to kill him. Special guest stars Liddy Holloway as Alcmene, Bridget Hoffman as Echidna, and Martin Kove as Demetrius.
21 "The Other Side": I believe this is the one where Persephone, daughter of Demeter (Goddess of the Harvest), falls in love with Hades (Erik Thomson) God of the Underworld--a very handsome, charming man. Hercules is forced to play peacemaker, lest all mankind suffer Demeter's wrath.
NOTES: Herc gets to see his family again--happily settled in the Elysian Fields, and waiting for him.
22 "The Fire Down Below": Salmoneus finds a hidden hoard of antiques and begins selling them for a huge profit. Unfortunately for Sal, the antiques belong to Hera--and she's not happy...
NOTES: Special guest star Robert Trebor as Salmoneus, the hardest- working businessman in Ancient Greece.
23 "Cast A Giant Shadow": Hercules frees the friendly but clumsy giant Typhon from a trap set by Hera. He learns that Typhon has been trapped for "a hundred and one years, seven months, fifteen days, and--I don't know how many hours. Hera never let me have an hourglass." He also finds out that Typhon is married to Echidna, the Mother of All Monsters. Now, Hercules must tell Typhon the brutal truth; all of his children (the Hydra, the Stymphalian bird, the She- Demon, etc.) are dead at Hercules' hands.
NOTES: Special guest stars Glenn Shadix as Typhon and Bridget Hoffman as Echidna.
24 "Highway To Hades": Hercules must recapture King Sisyphus, who has tricked a young boy into taking his place in the Land of the Dead. NOTES: Special guest star Erik Thomson as Hades. Michael Hurst does double duty as both Iolaus and Charon, the boatman who ferries the dead across the river Styx to the underworld...No, AC/DC's "Highway To Hell" is NOT part of the soundtrack!
25 "The Sword Of Veracity": Hercules must seek out a sword which forces the bearer to speak only the truth, and allows the bearer to extract the truth from others.
26 "The Enforcer": Hera creates a mindless construct of water in order to kill Hercules.
NOTES: The woman playing the Enforcer is vaguely familiar. Could it possibly be "Chynna" of the WWF? Nahhh...a.k.a. "Un-Natural Killers"...Special guest stars Karen Sheperd as the Enforcer and Teresa Hill as Nemesis.
27 "Once A Hero": Hercules and Iolaus are in Corinth for the 10th anniversary of the Argonauts' quest to recover the Golden Fleece. Unfortunately, a Hera-worshipping "masked demon" steals the Golden Fleece from a down-and-out Jason, King of Corinth. The Argonauts vow to retrieve the Fleece or die trying.
NOTES: Former title: "Argonauts Again"...Special guest star Jeffery Thomas as Jason.

28 "Heedless Hearts": Herc is in for both love and war when he falls for the leader of a rebel band that's fighting a tyrant. Meanwhile, Iolaus is hit by a lightning bolt, giving him the power to predict future events through visions. Special guest stars Audie England as Rheanna (the Rebel leader), Michael Keir-Morrisey as the evil King Melkos, and Bruce Hopkins as Jordis, Rheanna's husband and former leader of the Rebels.
Jordis was presumed dead when he fell off of a waterfall, but (unknown to Rheanna) he was rescued and nursed back to health. His return means that Herc and Rheanna have to break up, but he still helps the Rebels to win their war of liberation. During the final battle, Iolaus takes a nasty bump on the head, and loses his power to see the future, along with all memory of what happened after the lightning hit him. Still, he is glad to be in one piece and is not sorry to be rid of his power.
29 "Let The Games Begin": Hercules decides to end a war between the Spartans and the Eleans by creating a series of athletic events--the first Olympics! Special guest stars Cory Everson as Atalanta and Robert Trebor as Salmoneus.
Salmoneus: "Give me a moment. 'The Salmoneus Games'! No, no, we can't.
I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I've got those sore losers back there after me. No. No,
no. We should call it--we should call it--the Olympics! Huh? It's
majestic. It's-it's evocative. It's--it's Olympian--unless this brings
up your family troubles."
Hercules: "No. I like it. 'The Olympics.'"
30 "The Apple": Aphrodite, Athena and Artemis hold a beauty contest, and choose Iolaus as their judge! Naturally, they all cheat, but in the end he picks Aphrodite, and wins an enchanted golden apple--which creates a new set of problems...

31 "Promises" (a.k.a. "Two Weddings and a Funeral"): A king's fiancee is abducted by a warrior who lost Iolaus's friendship and respect when he deserted him in battle. The only problem is that she may not want to be rescued. Starring: Martin Csokas as Tarlus (the abductor), Josephine Davison as Ramina (the bride in question), and Joel Tobeck as King Beraeus.
NOTES: Martin Csokas has done several guest-shots for XWP as Borias (Xena's lover and father of Solan), and Joel Tobeck is well-known to XWP and HTLJ fans as Strife.
32 "King For a Day": Iolaus encounters his lookalike cousin Orestes, the crown prince of a distant land. When Iolaus is forced to stand in for His Highness the day of his coronation, all sorts of complications ensue.
33 "Protean Challenge": The shape-shifting Proteus creates a stir in a small village. Hercules must make him face up to his responsibilities, or an innocent man will have his hands cut off for a crime he didn't commit.
34 "The Wedding of Alcmene": Hercules' mother, Alcmene, prepares to wed Jason, King of Corinth and one of Hercules' best friends. But there are some who would do anything to destroy their happiness...
NOTES: Because he has married a "commoner" (non-Noble), Jason must step down as King of Corinth. However, he does have the right to name his successor. At first, he picks Hercules, but Herc respectfully declines. Jason's second choice is Iphicles (Kevin Smith), Hercules' mortal half- brother. Iphicles accepts, and is crowned King of Corinth...

35 "The Power": A young boy discovers that he has the power to make other people do whatever he says. Hercules soon discovers that the youth's father was a god. Herc must teach the boy to use his power responsibly, and guard him against those that would abuse it.
36 "Centaur Mentor Journey": The Centaur who taught Hercules everything he knows is dying. His last request is that Hercules save one of his Centaur students from getting himself killed as he leads a battle for equal rights.
37 "Cave of Echoes" Season Finale!: Hercules, Iolaus and an overeager writer search a mysterious cave to find a missing girl, and discover that not everything is what it seems.
