March is a very special month in our family
Sammy, our beloved tuxedo kitty,
went over the rainbow bridge on
march 05,1997(We will always remember you.)
Our niece,Scheherazade,turns 15 on
march,09,1999(Happy Birthday!)
Sammy was laid to rest on
march 13,1997(Sleep well.)
march 17,1999 is the 77th anniversary of the birth of
Boudinot Stimson,Jr.,who I knew as Uncle Pat
Hope you are enjoying hanging out with your brother
My wife,Karen w Stimson,aka Frau Wilhelmina,and I
were married on march 20,1986(13 wonderful years!)
Our nephew,Spartacus,turns 9 on
march 26,1999(Happy Birthday!)
Our brother-in-law,Paul,celebrates his birthday on
the blue moon,march 31,1999(Happy Birthday!)
April comes she will.
April is a time of remembrance and celebration.
Three who were near and dear to us died in Aprils past.
On April 8th,1994,our beloved brother-in-law,
Joseph Louis Prevost,died in the arms of my brother,
Charles Julian Stimson. Joey had AIDS.
He was one of the most incredibly passionate and
sensitive men I have ever met and continues to bless
our family.
On April 12th,1998,our uncle,
Walter Spilsbury, passed from this life,surrounded by
his family.Walter had heart disease.
Walter,the husband of my godmother,Vaughan Spilsbury,
was a good friend and pillar of strength in the community.
On April 20th,1986,Gladys Valentine Egelhofer Barlow died.
She was the grandmother of my wife,Karen w Stimson.
It was her time. We knew her as "Diane".
She was remarkably sweet,kind,
and had a wonderful sense of humor.I was most
fortunate to have known her,even for a short time.
Celebrations are two.
On April 19,1999,my brother,William Thomas Stimson
and his beautiful wife,Charise Moore Stimson
celebrate 10 years of marriage!
As they say,if it ain't broke don't fix it!
On April 22,1999,we join in the world wide celebration
of Earth Day.29 years!
I was lucky to be part of the very first Earth Day
celebration as a slightly manic seventh grader in 1970.
Allowed access to the public address system and a record
player,with the help of a couple of friends,some
chutzpah,and a good strong voice and flair for drama,
we did a little consciousness-raising.
