Cassie Bernal, an 18-year-old senior known to bring her Bible to school, was praying when one of the killer's asked her if she believed in God. "I heard her say yes and then I heard a shot," Cohen said. She died. "They ... pointed a gun at my head and asked if I was a jock. They said it's revenge time on jocks for making us outcasts," Todd said. "They were asking people why they should let them live. I said I had no problem with them. Obviously I was B.S.-ing for my life, because obviously I have a big problem with what they were doing. I wasn't looking up, but I saw the gun barrel pointed at my head. They had just shot Isaiah like three times. They kept asking if he was dead and then they'd shoot him again in the head. 'Is he dead?' 'No.' Boom. He was right next to me.
