Romeo & Juliet
I know that all you out there have to read the bookRomeo & Juliet by William Shakespeare. What I did was wrote out summaries for each scene that way anybody can find it easier to read this book. Act 1 Scene 1
There is a fight in the streets. This shows the fued between the Montagues and Capulets. Pince Escaulus is mad by this feud. Romeo is sad over his love for Rosaline.
Scene 2
Paris asks Juliet to marry him, but she is too young to get married. Benvoilo suggests that Romeo goes to the ball that Rosaline is attending, so he can compare here with the other women.
Scene 3
Juliet's mom tells her about Paris asking het the marry him. She is not willing to get married.
Scene 4
Romeo,Benvoilo,& Mercutio are going to the Capulet's party. They are dressed in costumes, Romeo says how he doesn't want to go.
Scene 5
Romeo,Benvoilo,& Mercutio are greeted at the party. Romeo motices are a girl. Romeo & Juliet talk, but they find out after the Juliet goes away that there familes, are enemies.
Act 2 Scene 1
Now that Romeo knows that Juliet is a capulet,he hides from his friends.
Scene 2
Romeo hears Juliet say her love for him & she doesn't care that he is a Montague. They exchange vows
of love. And Juliet says she will send a messenager to Romeo tommorow for there plans of marriage.
Scene 3
Romeo goes to Friat Lurence to get married, he agrees. He hopes this will bring the two families together.
Scene 4
Romeo's friends talk to him, and they find he is a changed man. Romeo tells Juliet's nurse to tell Juliet about the wedding.
Scene 5
Juliet is waiting word from Romeo. Juliet goes to the cell(church) to have "confession"(this is what she tells her parents) But what she really does is get married to Romeo.
Scene 6
Romeo & Juliet meet at the Friars cell to get married.
Act 3 Scene 1
Romeo kills Tybalt ,Juliet's cousin, when Mercutio his hurt by Tybalt. When the Capulet's here of this they get angry, and ask for Romeo's life in exchange.
Scene 2
Juliet learns of Tybalts death, but she understands that he threatened Romeo's life. Romeo is vanished, but the nurse promises to bring Romeo to Juliet before he leaves Verona.
Scene 3
The Prince has ardered Romeo banished, instead of killed. Romeo leaves Verona and goes to Mantua. Friar Laurence told Romeo he will give news to him trough his man Balthasar.
Scene 4
Paris and Capluet discuss Paris's marriage to Juliet, so Juliet will forget her sorrow for Tybalt.The will marry in three days.
Scene 5
Romeo & Juliet say goodbye at day break. Juliet's mother come in to tell Juliet about her marriage to Paris. The nurse tells Juliet that Paris would be a better choice then Romeo. Juliet is now going to rely on The Friar.
Act 4Scene 1
Paris is arranging with the Friar for a wedding between himself and Juliet. Friar gives Juliet a drug so that she can take it the day before the wedding.
Scene 2
The Capulet household prepares for the wedding, Juliet returns to pretend that she loves Paris, and that her Father was right along. Her father is so happy he re-schedules the wedding for tommorow.
Scene 3
Juliet drinks the poision mixture, only after thinking what would happen if she drank it and someting went wrong.
Scene 4
On the wedding morning the Capulets are getting last minute stuff done for the wedding.
Act 5Scene 1
Romeo's servent tells him that Juliet is "dead" and buried in the Capulets bureal place. He decides to join her in death with poision.
Scene 2
Friar John reports to Friar Laurence that he was unable to deliver the letter. In fear, Friar Laurence hurries to the Capulets valt to be there when Juliet awakens.
Scene 3
Romeo finds Paris at the Capulet's tomb, and kills him, Friar Lauerence arrives too late; Romeo already drank the fatal potion. When Juliet awakens, Friar Lurence tries to get her away, but then she sees Romeo dead. Juliet stabs herself. The Prince,Montagues, and Capulets come to the tomb. Friar Laurence tells them about the lovers and they decide to end there feud.
