Records of the Church in Vernon, Conn. 1762 - 1824 - communicated by Miss Mary Kingsbury Talcott of Hartford, Conn. This was published in the NEHG Register in April 1904.

The forward reads; The Church in Vernon (formerly North Bolton) was formed in October, 1762. It's first pastor, the Rev. Ebenezer Kellogg was born in Norwalk, Conn., April 5, 1737, graduated at Yale College in 1757, was ordained at North Bolton, November 24, 1762, and preached until within a few months of his death , September 3, 1817. He was followed by the Rev. William Ely, second pastor, ordained March 11, 1818, dismissed February 21, 1822. The third pastor, the Rev. Amzi Benedict, was installed June 30, 1824. The following records cover the first two pastorates.
