About Us
We have been owned by Weimaraners since 1978, but have been involved in showing and breeding since 1990. Our first Weimaraner taught us A LOT about what NOT to do with a Weimaraner and that was nothing. We were fortunate in 1990 to acquire a 2 ˝ year old dog by the name of Alex who needed a new home due to the divorce of his owners. He became our first Champion: Ch. Ultima’s Jacob Alexander, JH, NRD, CGC, TDI, V. Many thanks to Ann Johnson, of Ultima Weimaraners who placed him with us and was always there for us when we had a question. And to Cheryl Lent, Liberty Weimaraners who finished Alex for us. She has been and continues to be our most valuable mentor. In 1991, we purchased Ch. Fair Winds Ice Maiden v. Penywd, JH, NSD, BROM "Liza" who became our Foundation bitch. Thanks to her breeders Audrey and Don Meinke! We are also grateful to the handlers who have shown our Weimaraners for us: Cheryl, Ellen Grevatt, Patty Crowley, Alessandra and Sosanna Folz and Rusty Howard.
Our Weimaraners have earned AKC Championships, hunting titles, Agility titles, Versatile, BROM and CGC. We have also had Top Ten Best in Breed, Best In Futurity (as well as several futurity and maturity placements), WCA Award of Merit Winner, 2000 WCA Nationals, Multiple Specialty winners, and multiple Best in Specialty Sweepstakes wins.
To the owners of our “puppies”- Thanks for providing such wonderful homes and the opportunity to allow these dogs to reach their full potential. Without you, our breeding program would be nothing.
