Below are some pictures of Maize meeting a 4 month old baby deer in July 2006 that a friend of mine rescued that spring. The mother had been hit and killed by a car. Maize was really not too sure of this critter but did have a sense of curiosity. Other pictures show her with her daughter, Sophie who is a gorgeous fluff!
