God found for me a dear new friend
Just when He knew my need,
He sent to me a special sister
To bless the heart of me.
I didn't know the future set
And all that lay ahead,
But God foresaw and knew
Just how I should be kept.
And so you came into my life
A sister for my heart,
To pray, encourage and delight
With all you would impart.
I am so thankful every day
For your kindred spirit sent,
By the Hand of our most loving God
To be my very precious friend.
