Prayer Of Thanks
 
We give thee thanks, O God,
for your words of life
Words that help keep
us from sin and strife
We give thanks for Your Spirit,
which helps us to overcome
And praise the name of Jesus,
your only begotten Son.
Your Holy Word is
a gift to all men
Within the pages, we meet
the One who forgives sin,
If we live by your Word,
we can keep the victory.
Through Your Son Jesus Christ,
who died to set us free.
Thank you for the sunshine,
which makes the flowers grow
Thanks for your love,
you have given,
as we walk here below.
Thank you for family, friends,
and those we hold dear,
And, most of all,
we thank you Lord,
for always being near.
Our praise shall forever ascend,
to your holy throne
You are our God,
and we are never alone,
One day we shall see you,
and long for that wonderful day,
As we glorify your name,
give thanks, and pray.
