Me
Yep, this is the page I devote
entirely to boring you with many strange facts about me. Believe
me ... you'll walk away from this much wiser than you entered! Wiser as in you'll know not to return here!! ;)
- I was born in 1985, making
me 15 to this date (10/10/2000)
- I love reading, making my
favourite book series "The Obernewtyn
Chronicles", written by the incredibly talented
Isobelle Carmody!
- I have a wonderful best
friend, Lisa--LisaLou, I see you!--who knows exactly why
I'm such a weirdo! (and doesn't really mind ... I think).
- I love writing (duh!),
which is why I devoted an entire website to
my--current--life work, "Arsinuae". If you
haven't read it already, I ask you to do it, for my sake!
I need people posting on my message board!
- My other friends,
Hannah(AKA Solo), Simone(AKA Simeon), Alisa (AKA Alisa
The Swamp Princess), Nicole(AKA Nik-Nik) and
Kimberley(AKA Kimmy Baby!) all know how weird I am, and
accept it because they know I'm a great, wonderful person
that everyone wants to be friends with! *g*
- I have a habit of becoming
obsessed with things ... something you'll undoubtedly
have realised if you've ever talked to me for more than
ten minutes about Arsinuae!
- I frequent many great
websites and message boards, something I probably shouldn't
do (phone bills, internet bills, etc.), but do anyway. To
name a few of them, "The Halfwittenberg Door"
and "The Faery Circle" are extremely cool.
Check 'em out through my links page (whenever I get that
up ... *sheepish grin*)
- My favourite movies
include: "Star Wars", "The Godfather"
(excl. Part III ... not mafia enough for me!),
"Romeo + Juliet", "Everafter" and
"How To Make An American Quilt" ... there's
millions more, but listing them all would be impossible.
(Ask them for 'tingly' movies! *G*)
- My favourite
actors/actresses: Hmm ... well, the most talented and
incredibly spunky actor would be EDWARD NORTON! If you have no idea who that
is, go rent: "Primal Fear", "American
History X" or "Fight Club". Ignore Richard
Gere, Edward Furlong and Brad Pitt. Concentrate on the
altar boy, nazi and pencil-pusher(respectively). Update!: or, you
can rent "Keeping the Faith", and ignore the
annoying apeman!! Ben Stiller = Dr. Zaius. Watch
"Reality Bites" to figure out what the heck I'm
talking about ... then maybe "Planet of the
Apes" too. Or watch the Simpson's episode concerning
PotA. Woo! Dr. Zaius, Dr Zaius! Doo-doo-doo-doo! YEAH!
- Oh yeah ...
favourite actresses ... let's see. Kirstin
Dunst, Winona Ryder, Drew Barrymore, and lots more.
- I don't
really have a favourite sport--can't stand football,
volleyball, netball, basketball ... The only game I like
that contains a ball is hockey. Update!: I'm now
playing indoor soccer, and we're in the semi-finals! Yay!
GO RAW!!(I play for my youth group, and we call ourselves
'RAW' . . . who knows why!)
- I also love
Shakespeare, Charlotte and Emily Bronte, George Orwell
and John Steinbeck. That's my classics.
- My
favourite season is winter, followed by autumn. I adore
rain, especially when it's windy, gloomy, moorish
rain! (do you know what a moor is? If not, go find out!)
I also am obsessed with travelling: Germany(GK2),
Italy(TTMR), New Orleans(GK1)--plus Romania, Greece,
Egypt, Mexico, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. *sighs* It's
gonna take me a while to save up that much
money! ;)
Update: 8/7/2000
- I have a
"Ludwig Disorder". Yes, I made it up. To have a
"Ludwig Disorder", one must, in most romantic
relationships, build an entire life behind the person and
expect them to be the way one imagines. *sighs* I knew I
had problems, so I go and invent a disorder . . . (note:
playing too much GK2 can be bad for your health)
- Ooh!! I
used to be totally and utterly obsessed with /\/\/, then
I found out a slight secret of his . . . liking him ain't
worth it. So, now, I like the wonderful, incredibly weird
/~\ (jeez, I seriously do have problems!!
someone call the asylum!)
Update:
10/10/2000
- How is it
that the world can change so much in only two short
months?! Well, I've decided that /~\ is much too mature
for me(or so he reckons!), so I'm back to square one.
However, since I have no romantic prospects at the
moment, I'm just going to dream about my perfect guy for
a few months . . . mmm, dreamy!
- A-woo-hoo!
I ADORE "The Talented Mr. Ripley"! I simply
cannot get it out of my head! I've seen it three times
now, and Jude Law is really spunky, Matt Damon is really,
really, really COOL!(ha! take that Alisa!)--plus, later
on when he gets his hair right he has his moments . . .
*notices steam coming from her head* ooh, too much
excitement! I'm going to go insane!! *rushes to put out
her flaming head*
- Hmm . . .
what more can I say? I'm in an obsession month, since I'm
really cool, and I love cool stuff, and everything I love
YOU HAVE TO AS WELL!! Uh . . . maybe not! But, really,
how do you know unless you try it? Go rent yourself
Ripley, read some Carmody, check out Gabriel Knight, go
to my links page and travel to The Faery Realm -- or,
maybe even go to a search engine and type in Edward
Norton, just so you know what I'm talking about, okay?
*reminds herself to write him a letter about his
impending marriage to Salma Hayek *gag* and convince him
that she is the only woman for him!*
Update:
21/10/2000
- I just
bought TTMR!! YIPPEE! Now, at any moment, I can turn on
the TV and watch some spunky Jude Law or Matt Damon! How incredibly
lucky am -I-?! Of course, some of you wouldn't agree,
since you either hate Matt Damon on TTMR, but that's your
problem! Hee!
- I also
bought the Princess Bride, some cool clothes, and saw
LisaLou buying Peter's b'day present in town! Hello Lisa!
- Umm . . .
that's about it for this update. I'm off to eat dinner,
so 'Ciao!' -- and remember: "Tu Vuo' Fa
L'Americano!"!! Hee!!
Update: 5/2/2001
- Hee!! I'm now in Year 11
*gag*, so I've got stacks of homework ... yay. How can
the leap between Year 10 and Year 11 be so wide??
Eekies!!
- OMG!!! 'Clockwork Orange'
is like the weirdest, yet coolest movie ever!!! OOO!!!
"Vidi well, my brother--Vidi well." YAY!!
- Strange how my obsessions
can wither, or yet again revive with a remarkable force.
/\/\/ IS SOOOO HOT!!! How can I handle him being in 4
(yes, I repeat--FOUR!) of my classes this year!! Maths was
enough!! Now it's more!!! AAAAHHHHHH!!!!
- Simone's in
love with Grant. And, now, I'm going to find some way to
entice him to visit my page.
Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. (yes, I'm always like
this!!)
- that
"Frankenstein" documentary today was the
suckiest thing I'd ever seen. But English Ext. isn't too
bad so far -- Nicky hired the video instead of reading
the book (I had to read the whole 282pages of
Frankenstein in 2 days--the weekend!--and you know how
hard classics are!), and then we watched the
afore-mentioned sucky documentary. Some people get all
the luck.
- LisaLou . .
. hee. Hehehehehehehehehehehhehehehehehehheeeeeehh.
"For I'm sure her face won't get better with
age!!" LOL!
- Hey, I'm
wondering . . . does Cling-a-lot dye her hair to match
all her new clothes?? 'Cause for the formal she had that
horrible orange dress, and she seemed to bleach her hair
really crappily so it went orange (ha! maybe she put
brown dye in it like Joel did!); and now since we've got
new uniforms, it seems that her hair is red to match it.
Not that it's a nice red or anything--not even a Lola
red. Just a morone colour that makes her look uglier than
usual. *sigh* Nevermind.
- Well,
that's about it for now. In the words of Hannah,
"TIMMY!", and in the words of Simone,
"Look, Maz! It's HENRY!!" or, in the immortal
words of Alisa Price and Myself: "Funnnnniiiieeeee .
. . OW!! Eeeewww . . . the english room has FLEAS!!
Yuck!! One just crawled on my hand!! --
Hoinnnnnyyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!"
Update: 8/4/2001
- ZANG!!!!!!
. . . . . . . . . . . (zimbabwe's tang?)
- Radiohead
ROCK!!! Mr Thom, we love you! Our lives shall never be
the same. Nicky B and I must worship your rocking music!!
Can't wait to see you in December!
- Mr. Molko
is the sexiest man alive -- even sexier that /\/\/!
Literally!! OMG!! 'Without HIM, I'm nothing!'!!! (IN CASE YOU HAVE
NO IDEA WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT, GO HERE: Mr Molko
Thankyou for
your time! GOODNIGHT! *wink*
If I find anything else
interesting to write--not likely--I shall post it as soon as I
get around to it. Goodbye!
