The basis of some of this tree is a small study I did on naming frequency  in the local towns.  Barbara is not very common and slightly more so than Thomas.  Emlin less common than either of them. There were baptisms in the towns above with children of Thomas & Barbara Gorvin and Gorvett within a 10 year or so period. I am judging them to be the same Thomas & Barbara. To have another couple with those names, in those towns, within the same child bearing time frame is miniscule.


 

Descendants of Christian [Gorvett]

This is why I call them miniature...(these are Wembworthy)

They are based on a1779 census of Wembworthy.   Buried in Wembworthy in 1777 is Richard Gorvett then 1792, Christian Gorvett, a pauper buried.
