Plot: Austin Powers(Mike Myers) isn't any undercover spy, he's also a swinger. Along with the help of his beautiful sidekick, Mrs.Kensington(Mimi Rogers), the two try and stop Dr.Evil(Mike Myers once again) from taking over the world. This is all ocurring in the 1960's, and on one mission they almost finally capture Dr.Evil, but he escapes in a mini spaceship of course accompanied by his cat Mr.Bigglesworth. Dr.Evil is cryogenically frozen so that he won't age, so Austin decides to do the same so that when Dr.Evil does unfreeze, Powers will still be able to fight him. Warp ahead 30 years, it's the 90's when the ship that Dr.Evil is in is spotted on radar. They decide to unfreeze Austin Powers so that he can face off with Dr.Evil. Austin is introduced into the 90's by his boss, Basil Exposition(Michael York) and his new sidekick, Vanessa Kensington(Elizabeth Hurley), Mrs.Kensington's daughter. She's not too fond of Austin's attempts to hit on her and act sexy, but they form a friendship. Meanwhile, Dr.Evil has been frozen and plans to use a giant drill and drill into the center of the earth unless the president pays him a ransom. Dr.Evil has many henchmen who try and kill Austin Powers so that he won't stop Dr.Evil's plans. Dr.Evil's right-hand man is Number 2(Robert Wagner), and Frau Farbissina(Mindy Sterling) makes sure that he doesn't kill his son. That's right, while frozen, Dr.Evil's partners in crime created a son for him by using his DNA. Now his son Scott(Seth Green), who's in his teen's, feels betrayed by his evil father for never being there. Austin and Vanessa must find Dr.Evil's secret hideout or else they're all going to die. But there are many obstacles in the way. For example, Dr.Evil sends out Alota Fagina(Fabiana Udenio) to distract Austin. Will they succeed or will the earth come to an end?

My Thoughts: This is probably one of my favorite comedies ever. I love all of Mike Myers work such as Wayne's World and his time at SNL, but this is his best movie yet. There are so many scenes that I just crack up everytime I see it. I've probably seen this 5 or 6 times already, and I still love it. The relationship between Scott and Dr.Evil is hilarious. Also, there's one particular scene where Austin and Vanessa are naked in their room, and in order to not get an R rating, the director decided to put all sorts of items in from of the explicit body parts. This includes hotdogs, cups of milk, balloons, just a really funny scene. Also, there are many parodies of James Bond that make this really funny. None of the actors seem to mind taking chances and making themself look silly on the screen. The director purposely made it look hooky and silly. For example, in one scene, Vanessa and Austin have to escape a room full of angry seabass. They escape and dunk one of the guard's head in the water with the seabass, and when they lift his body up and there's no head, it's so obviously that it's a dummy but it makes it so much more funnier. I don't think I'll even get bored of this movie. If I watched it everyday, I'd still love it. If you haven't seen this, I would highly recommend it. There is also a sequel entitled Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me which is also very funny.
