Poems of the One’s Who Take Care of Us
Fairies These delicate creatures are
small They come in many shapes and
sizes They could be as small as a bug,
or as big as a person With wings so shiny they seem to
glow And skin the texture of fine silk Happy is always their emotion Always willing to help Yet they very rarely get asked When they do they hardly get
thanked They can be sitting next to you Or they may be that person you
never thanked All they ask is for you to be
happy All they need is two words |

Mother She is the one who is always
there The one who will love you no
matter what She is the one who gave you life She will always be beautiful to
you The one who applauds you when
you’ve done good And a sympathetic shoulder when you’ve
done bad She knows all your stories and
when to tell them This lady is one of your best
friends And always knows best She is full of knowledge if you
just ask The one who packed your lunch for
years Who cried at your graduation, And the day you get your own
place She is and always will be your
mother All this and much more gotten
without a degree She is and always will be MOM |

Old
Friends A
sudden Calmness falls over the land She
has come yet again The
wind starts to howl, The
darkness falls cold over the old barn It's
only friend a tree half gone, Her
last fight had taken its toll here. She
wraps her whirling fingers Around
the branches and leave In
Pain the tree Creaks and cracks Swaying
to and fro. The
clouds run fast in fear As
do I, to find some safety From
the cold harsh world I
find comfort in the old barn The
inside howled much like the out But
I was safe, for now Fool
I thought, as I sat in the barn Only
a fool would try to stand against her The
wind blew by quickly over the land Soon
she was gone again Leaving
the Old Friends in peace |
