Info on ANGELINA JOLIE
The talented performer, who won this year's Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for her role in "Girl, Interrupted," stunned fans and industry members alike with her seemingly sudden marriage in May to Oscar winner Billy Bob Thornton at the Little Church of the West Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. The location was said to have been chosen for its geographical location, halfway between Los Angeles and Flagstaff, Ariz., where Thornton reportedly had been staying. In a recent television interview, Jolie glowingly exclaimed that Thornton is "absolutely magic," and in the upcoming issue of Talk magazine, she describes the force behind "Sling Blade" as "the sexiest (bleeping) creature that ever lived." The performers previously worked together on the 1999 motion picture "Pushing Tin." The marriage is Jolie's second; Thornton has been married five times and most recently was engaged to actress Laura Dern.

No stranger to unique ceremonies, Jolie's first marriage featured a wedding with the bride sporting black rubber pants and the groom's name written in blood on the back of her shirt. For her marriage to Thornton, however, Jolie adopted a more modest approach, wearing a sleeveless blue sweater and jeans. Jolie's father, actor Jon Voight, and her brother, actor Jamie Haven, were not in attendance.

On the career front, the sexy star is set to portray much-adored cyberbabe Lara Croft in the upcoming motion picture "Tomb Raider," and will appear opposite Antonio Banderas in "Original Sin" (formerly "Dancing in the Dark.") From all accounts, it looks as if the actress that JANE magazine's Annual Entertainment Poll voters either wanted to be--or be with--will continue to attract attention with her every move.

"Brother Controversey"
At the Golden Globes this year, Angelina Jolie's 'date' was no other than her brother, Jamie. Nothing was said. Then, at the Oscars, when accepting her award for Best Supporting Actress (for her role in Girl, Interrupted) Angelina called her brother "the greatest man I have ever met." Since then, all the buzz has been about an alleged 'sexual trist' with her brother. US Weekly did a cover story; every news magazine was talking about it, but the "couple" retained the fact that they were just, a loving brother and sister. Jamie said, "They (reporters) are going into a realm where it's something that's almost ugly, rather than something that can be beautiful. If that (his relationship with Angelina) is unusual these days, that's sad." This whole "debate" has enraged me. I was so impressed by the beauty and elogance with which she spoke. To see her brother with his head in his hands weeping for his sister was an incredible sight for me. How wonderful that he should feel that connection with his sister. And then for her to being crying, and call him the greatest man - I was amazed. But the next day, when I heard these rumors on a radio station, I grew upset. I thought how silly. But I disregarded it as an isolated incident. Then I opened my US Weekly to find the rumor again - with a cover story! Angelina has since been married to boyfriend Billy Bob Thorton, essentially thrashing the brother-sex rumors.
