What: The president of Speedtech Instruments in Great Falls Virginia has given an endangered black rhino the death sentence.
Who: Mr. David Laylin - a hunter and entrepreneur. President of Speedtech Instruments.
Why: According to PETA, Mr. Laylin will sell Baixinha ("Pretty One") to a big game hunter who will shoot her where she stands. The decision came about after several failed breeding attempts with an aging bull in her South African home.
When: Mr. Laylin is still in talks with animal welfare organizations to re-think his decision. Nothing is final yet.
