Happy, cheerful, bright

Smiling and laughing and light

Having fun with lots of friends

An endless party

Endless sunshine

That's the sunlight side

Then there's the other side:

Dark and moody and sad

Frightened and just a little mad

Alone, weeping, sobbing, struggling

Overwhelmed by the dark

That's the shadow side.
