They have never seen me

Never have noticed me

I live in eternity

A hiding dusk

Shadows around me

Soothing and keeping me

Shading and hiding my secrets

I'm safe in my shadows

As long as I'm noticed by none

I am a twilight cat

One of those silent, secretive sibylls

Seeing the death of my dusk

And my shadows

But death never stops the prophet

And so I go on

Ignored and forgotten

Unseen in the shadows

Unheard in the twilight

Like Cassandra of old

My whispered warning fall upon

Deaf ears

And twilight shadows hide the secrets of

The years

The secret, shadowed fears
