Links LS 2000
LinksLS 2000 update v1.21 RELEASED April 6th 2000 is now available for download(just in
time for the 2nd VGA Tourney!!).

LinksLS site to download. The file is about 1.07 megs in size. The only file changed is
the linksls2k.exe file. If you backup this file before patching, you can always go
back to a prior version, if you want to..Among things fixed in this are: Wind meter display,
Volume Control, Powerstroke swing enhancement, no more Synching Scorecard, IP, Win2000, and

Required Utilities: DirectX 6.1
Experience nine beautifully-reproduced holes from the fabulous Mauna Kea Resort in Hawaii. Five modes of play are available, including stroke, skins, two-player match play, amateur skins and scramble stroke play in special Links LS 2000 demo rooms on the MSN Gaming Zone. You can also play unlimited nine-hole rounds, and there's playable modem and network play with two players.

Links LS 99 Demo
The LS 99 demo includes 9 holes from Entrada at Snow Canyon. Due to size limitations, multimedia tours are not available in the demo. A minimal set of sounds and golfer animations is also included.
LS99 Demo: 55 MB. To install, download and run. Follow the on-screen instructions. You may delete ls99demo.exe after installation in order to save disk space.
Attention Win95/98 Users!
It is strongly recommended that you use DirectX 6 with Links LS 1999. If you are unsure of which version of DirectX your machine has, open your Control Panel and click on the DirectX icon. If you do not have a DirectX icon in Control Panel or it reports a version less than 6, download DirectX 6.0 from Microsoft's Windows Update web site.
Attention WinNT Users!
You must have Service Pack 3 or higher installed in order to run Links LS 99.
Links LS Mac Demo
Multimedia (flyby's, etc.) are not available in this demo due to size limitations. A minimal set of sounds and golfer animations is included. The Links LS Mac downloadable demo is available either as a single 27.9 MB file archive named lsdemo.sea.hqx or as 15 individual file archives named lsdemodisk.sea.hqx, lsdemodisk.sea.2.hqx, lsdemodisk.sea.3.hqx, etc.
Installation
1. Create a temporary folder.
2. Download either lsdemo.sea.hqx or lsdemodisk.sea.hqx, lsdemodisk.sea.2.hqx, ... lsdemodisk.sea.15.hqx into your temporary folder.
3. Use a BinHex decoder (such as StuffIt Expander available at http://www.aladdinsys.com/consumer/index.html) to decode the files. (You must do this to all 15 files if you download the disk-based version.)
4. After decoding the BinHex files, expand the archive(s) by double clicking on either lsdemo.sea or lsdemodisk.sea (whichever you chose to download).
5. Once the archive(s) have been expanded there will be a file in your folder named Links LS Download Demo - run this file by double clicking on it and follow the on screen directions.
6. Once the demo program is installed you may delete the temp folder which you downloaded the archive(s) to in order to save disk space.
