The Atlantic Ocean borders a few fairways on the front 9. The 8th hole has a very
interesting tee shot, with a very well placed tree. The chimney of the slaves
"Big House" still stands off the 18th green. The clubhouse was originally a corn barn
and a stable. President Bush honeymooned here in 1945. Davis Love III lives off the 5th
Tee. In fact, when standing on the 5th tee, rotate about 155 degrees, and hit a 1/2 LW
towards his house, and check out his cheezy lawn furniture!! All in all, a fairly easy
course.

The Signature Hole:
Number 8 is a 355 yard par 4. Don't use your driver on this hole. Too much trouble
with water left and trees right. I aim for the center of the fairway with a 3 iron.
Your 2nd shot is usually a short iron and the green is very receptive for a chance at
a birdie.
