2001 Arnold Palmer Course Designer
Here, I hope to have a wide variety of information regarding the APCD for Links 2001 including
some basic info, screenshots, my attempts at courses, and links to sites about the APCD.
I was one of the lucky ones to win a copy of the Arnold Palmer Course Designer beta!! I
however have yet to have recieved it..

General Info
* The APCD will run on machines with the same minimum system requirements required for the
game, although more memory and a video card with 8 megs of ram will make a big difference.
*The APCD is virtually the exact tool that the Links 2001 course designers are using to build
the included courses. They claim that some user designed courses will be indistinguishable
from the packaged courses.
*The APCD will have about a 100 page tutorial along with planned online Q&A's, tips
and tricks and interaction with the Links 2001 course development team. There also talks
of contests for the game/course designer enthusiasts.
*The textures that can be used to build terrain in the Arnold Palmer Course Designer are
256x256x8bit .TGA files.
*You will be able to create your own panoramas. They are 7680x720 32bit .TGA files which
use the alpha channel for transparency.
