which will begin to wax again after this night of peak darkness.

Imbolg; Feburary 1 or 2, ... Honors the Goddess as the waiting bride of the returning sun God.

Ostara; Spring Equinox, ... A night of balance in which night and day are equal ,
with the forces of light gaining power over the darkness.

Bealtaine; May 1, ... Celtic Fertility festival, a time to celebrate new life in all its forms
The time when the Goddess and God are united in marriage.

Midsummer; Summer Solstice, ... The sun has reached the peak of its power.
The earth is green with the promise of a bountiful harvest.

Lughnasadh; August 1 or 2, ... Named for the Irish sun God Lugh,
the first of the Pagan harvest festivals.

Mabon; Fall Equinox, Named for the Welsh God,
the second harvest festival.
