Ch. 25

Dear Journal:      Sunday, June 25, 2000
I know it's been so long since I've written (a little over a year) but I've been so busy. My life has changed more in this past year then ever before in my 20 years of life (should that be 19, since I turned 20 while my life was fucked up? Oh well!) I moved next to--believe it or not--Nick Carter, the Backstreet Boy. I kinda also fell in love with him--which is totally weird since I said I wouldn't ever fall in love with anyone, ever after you know the whole Steve thing right? Well, I guess I lied (my bad). Well before I start rambling off about someone who I have totally forgotten :) (thanks to Nick). I really don't even know if I fell in love with him..I thought I did :þ Maybe he did, too..( haha I doubt it!) Well, then I started my web site called End of the rainbow.. and I began a story called Faith in Chaos, I thought of that title one night--I remember my grandmother always said life was like Chaos and you should have faith I it..and one of Nick's nick names (try to say that 100 times fast, haha) is Chaos..that was just totally weird. My world was soon torn part by a disease, well two actually--Anorexia and Bulimia...

She stopped writing and closed her eyes...
The moon reflected off the water perfectly and not a cloud shown in the sky. She sat there watching the water and thinking when she heard foot steps behind her.
"Hey," he sat next to her.
"Can I tell you the truth?"
"Yeah, sure what about?"
"Ya know when I first moved here and how you thought it was your fault when I became sick," he nodded. "Well, I never had gotten better from when I was like 15, I had lived with it for 6 years and acted like I was better, I'd eat like every other day or something..my mom didn't notice the difference..I'm just so sick of being sick," she cried finally turning to face him.
"I-I'm sorry," he embraced his now sobbing friend.
"Do you hate me," she asked pulling away from him a little.
"Never," he kissed her cheek.
"You're a great guy Nick and I hope you marry the greatest girl in the world," she stood up.
"How do you stay so strong," she helped him up.
"I'm not Nick, you are." She said simply heading back to her house. "Music, Nick!" She yelled waving, not looking back once.

She opened her eyes and smiled as she continued writing...
I still haven't said good bye to Nick---I never will. That guy knows everything about me, for me to shut him out of my life would be totally crazy, no matter what happens (plus I like to call and bug him--when he has the time of course..hehe) My best friend Amanda (Mandi) and I stay close, talk almost every day..I call her sometimes :þ Pat is recovering pretty well but he still can't come home..and it's been almost two weeks (I think) and I still LOVE him with all my heart--no matter what. I have just one last thing to add before I wait another year before writing in YOU again..haha..the one person who keeps me going is someone I've never met and that would be my best friend/twin Courtney. I love that girl to death.
So I'll move on with my life, I learned so much from the amazing people I have met and I will learn more as I go on..I just know it! I continue to get better..so until next year I sign off...
