"Oh yeah you can!" Amanda said pulling her friend out of the car.
"Nooo." Candice pulled away from Amanda quickly. "You don't understand. I can't see him."
"You've been waiting, whining, and begging to see him. Now get your ass moving!" Amanda pushed her friend up to the door and knocked. Candice heard footsteps coming closer and closer to the door. Her heart stopped, skipping a couple beats. What should I say? What if he hates me? What if.... The door snapped open and before she knew it, she flung her body into his. She didn't have to see or hear him. She knew it was him. She could feel him. Even before he opened the door. She wrapped her arms tighter around his waist. He smiled and lifted her head up slowly.
"Hey." He grinned down at her. She melted in his arms, and unconsciously moved her head forward, covering his lips with hers. She felt his hand slide down her back and his other tangled in her hair.
This is it! This is what it feels like!
Her lungs began to burn and she began to noticed some talking around her, but she just couldn't pull away from him. Finally before she couldn't take anymore, he pulled away.
"Nice. To. See. You." He gasp trying to catch his breath.
"You don't know how long I've needed to do that." She blushed as she finally noticed a couple people standing around her.
"Oh hey." Nick blushed running a hand through his hair.

"Candi! You're here!" Aj cackled running up to her. Leave it to Aj to fix any uncomfortable moments. Candice thought snickering as Aj pulled her into a long bear hug. "Where's my kiss?" He whispered in her ear as he pulled away grinning.
"Dunno? Go find it." She whispered back as Howie came in sight from around a corner.
"Oh. That hurt," Aj frowned putting his hand over his heart.
"My girl." Howie declared pulling her into a tight hug.
"Can't breath.." she teased pulling away from him slowly.
"Sorry," he smiled.
"Talkin' bout my girl.." Nick sang standing behind her.
"Welcome back," Howie smiled at her again before mixing in with the crowd once again. She hugged Brian and Kevin then wanted to reintroduce Amanda to them all, knowing how many people the meet everyday, she knew they had forgotten her. As soon as she turned around they were all gone. Nick stood beside her grinning, she closed her eyes and got lost in her thoughts.
There actually weren't too many people had the party. They had just sung the national anthem at the Superbowl and Candice knew Nick would be awake all night talking about it. Even if the Bucs didn't win it. It was still amazing for Nick, one of his dreams.

She was brought out of her thoughts when a pair of arms wrapped around her waist. "Hey Nick." She smiled up at him, opening her eyes.
"Hey Trouble, what's wrong?"
"Nothin' Nick." She smiled sincerely. She turned back toward the window and sighed. Nick rested his chin on her head and gazed out the window with her.
"I missed you."
"I know you did. I missed you too."
"How's the tour?"
"Great! It's amazing. The fans are great. I love it."
"Good. So how does it feel to be 21? You're legal now! Yeay!"
"Haha." Nick smiled and spun her around quickly causing her to yelp. Before she could open her mouth, she was silenced by Nick's lips. She pulled herself closer to him and became so ingrossed in the kiss, that she almost let out a soft cry when an oddly familiar song began to play...

Tears filled her eyes as they swayed to the music. She rested her head on his chest and listened to his heart beat, almost in time with the music. She smiled. This was right.

He pulled her even closer and kissed her forehead, noticing that she had a smile plastered on her face. As much as he denied it, didn't want it to happen, it had. He was in love with her. Flashbacks from the past year hit him hard, as they danced. They also made him smile. For every down there had been an up. He made her smile, she made him smile. They were happy.
