It’s something of a miracle,
Every time I hear His name.
Yet it was Him that I put aside
When I was lonesome and in pain.
I seeked help from men,
And from books made by sin itself.
Having tears in my eyes, it was then
That I looked beyond the bookshelf.

Watching me cry.
I flip through the fragile pages,
Searching for a solution.
Yet every verse I see
Should be my resolution.
I finally turn to the verse I started with,
More than a year ago.
There it is,
Revelation twenty one- four.
Oh what a promise!
It lights my heart.
And I know that God is with me,
Always.. Forever..
A true friend,
Never to part.
A true friend.. For me.
And He says,
“I will be with thee.”
