MAY HOME GAMES
Dominos Nabiscos and Babalu to you, my dear brothers and sisters. It is once again time for our monthly scouting report. The Ravens welcome The Norwich Navigators to Yale Field on May 4th, 5th and 6th. Norwich is the farm team of The World Champion New York Yankees; the greatest sports franchise in recorded American history. I smell deep dark trouble for New Haven in this series. I predict that this will be a very tough series for The Ravens and I can see Norwich winning two games in this three game set, with New Haven’s only victory being a shutout on Friday night.
The Trenton Thunder invade Yale Field the following weekend for four games…May 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th. Your Holiness is not too worried about these games as Trenton is the farm team of The Boston Red Sox, who haven’t won anything since 1918. Unless The Blowsox send Pee-dro down to pitch these four games, I predict that our beloved Ravens will win three of the four games. Trenton was the birthplace of singer Frank Sinatra before he died. Mr. Sinatra is famous for many songs such as “New York, New York”, “These Boots are Made for Walking” and “New York, New York” He was also very friendly (if you know what I mean!) with beautiful actress Marylyn Monroe. Sometimes Frank even got together with The Kennedys for bar-b-Q’s and drinks. All spent many weekends frolicing around The Kennedy compound. They would all try to get Miss Monroe loaded and all had a good time from what they remembered. This was known as “Camelot”. Miss Monroe was very popular and loved to settle down and get married, much like our own Cardinal Randy. I am asking all Babalu members to help find the right girl (Sister Peggy?) for Cardinal Randy to marry. If we can’t find her, let’s at least send him out on a date. He is looking for a girl who loves life, is into heavy metal, respects animals and children, and likes to bowl.Smoking two packs of Marlboros a day would also be a big plus for the future Mrs. Cardinal! It would also help if she had a vehicle that sat four people comfortably.Although she doesn’t have to sleep with him, I’m sure our Cardinal would appreciate it.
***Please do not set these dates up on a Thursday or Sunday (those are his bowling nights) or whenever his friend’s band plays at Toad’s.**
