UPDATE: Thank you for your prayers.. My dad is fine. He had seen a doctor a couple months back and there's nothing wrong with him. It was a false alarm, thank God. :) But I would ask that my readers please continue praying for my family's salvation.. and also, recently, something (I don't even know what) came between my best friend and myself. Now he won't even talk to me.. Can I ask that you please pray for him to forgive me.. and be my friend again? Thank you all very much, for your prayers, and for your presence at this site. :) God bless!

PRAYER REQUEST: Hi, this is Amelia, the creator of the site.. I would like to send out a prayer request for my dad. He might have a fatal illness: it might be cancer.. We're not sure as of yet, but I wish to ask that you pray for him to be okay and to receive salvation. I'm the only person in my family who is saved, but I don't ignore their situation. Please pray for them, and for my dad to be all right. Thank you for any and all your help. God bless!

i was really really stoked about this verse. im not sure exactly the exact words or where it is but Jesus said something to the effect of, one who finds his life will lose it, and one who loses his life for me will find it. that really got me thinking

Prayer Request
This morning, my friend's friend from the local Baptist Church comitted suicide. I didn't know this person, David, well.. hardly at all. We were in the same math class once. But I can't help feeling awful..
Sometimes you see someone, and you don't know them.. Maybe you don't even want to know them, because you have the wrong idea.. Having the wrong idea about someone is sometimes the one thing that may stop you from witnessing to them. Now it's too late for me to bring up the Lord with Dave.. If I knew this would happen, I would have said something to him, but I didn't know.. and I can't change the past.
The prayer I request is not one which will bring him back to life.. On the other hand, I would ask that who reads this would please say a prayer for his family and friends, that they may be comforted through this awful tragedy.
If Dave was saved, I don't know.. He went to a Baptist Church, and he had Christian friends. And even Christians make mistakes..
Please pray for his family and friends. Thank you.
