also known as Tiger cat and Leopard cat

Ocelots very from 3 ½ to 4 feet (107-120cm) long, including their 15 inch (38cm) tail. They are about 16-18 inches (41-46cm) high at the shoulder. They weight 22-35 pounds (10-16kg). Their fur ranges from reddish-yellow to smoky-pearl with black or dark brown stops. They have a pink nose and large eyes.

Ocelots usually hunt at night, they mostly prey on: rodents, young deer and birds.

A littler consists of 2-3 young.

Ocelots live in Arizona, Texas and South America. They live on the ground but they will go in trees to hunt and are great climbers.

The scientific name is Felis pardlis.
