Singles Match: The most common type of match in the world of wrestling. Two wrestlers in the ring, win by a three count, a tap out, count out, or disqualification.
Tag Team Match: Two or more tag teams. One wrestler in at a time. Win by a three count, a tap out, count out, or disqualification.
Hardcore Match: Two or more wrestlers. Anything goes (weapons, outside interference, low blows, etc). Win by a three count or tap out.
Triple Threat Match: Same rules as a singles match, only with three wrestlers in the ring.
Four Corners Match: Same as singles and triple threat matches, only with four wrestlers in the ring.
Cage Match: Two or more wrestlers in a steel cage. Win by getting out of the cage and touching the floor first. No disqualification.
Ladder Match: Two men in a ring with a ladder. The first man to use the ladder to get whatever is hanging above the ring is the winner.
Hell in a Cell Match: A cage with a top surrounding the ring. Two or more wrestlers are inside. No disqualification. Win by a three count or a tap out.
Tornado match: Two teams of two in the ring. Same as a tag team match, except now both members of each team are allowed in the ring at all times. Win my three count, tap out, count out, or disqualification.
In most cases, these are the only types of matches that the EC will book wrestlers in. If the EC books wrestlers in another type of match not on this list, they will be notified in advance of the cards release. However, wrestlers may request any type of match they like, as long as it is approved by the EC. Be creative, come up with anything you like.
