1. Characters in the IWF are completely fictional. You may not use a professional wrestler or the likeness of one. Be creative and make up your own character.
2. You may only handle one singles wrestler OR one tag team in the IWF. If you choose to handle a tag team, they will only be used in tag team matches. If you are found to be in violation of this rule, you will be fired immediately.
3. You have the option to use a fictional manager/valet in your RP's that are directly involved in the character's affairs. An outside contact or other person already in the IWF may not play these roles.
4. You MAY use other wrestlers, commentators, or members of the Executive Committee in your roleplays, BUT with extreme limitations. You may not cause any bodily harm to any of these characters or make them do something they normally would not do. If you are not 100% sure that what you are doing is ok, get permission ON THE OOC BOARD from that wrestler. Use common sense and this shouldn't be an issue.
5. You may NOT post on the OOC or RP boards unless you have been accepted as an official member of the IWF. You must have recieved an email of acceptance and have been added to one of the rosters.
6. YOU MUST ROLEPLAY AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK!!! This is the whole concept of an e-fed. If you have a match coming up you MUST RP at least twice. Each wrestler has the same opportunity as the next in RPing. There are no exceptions to this rule, unless permission has been given from either the Owner or President exempting you from RPing.
7. There is absolutely no toleration for fights/arguments when you are out of character. Joking around is one thing, and is even encouraged. However, the moment things become more than friendly jokes, or when someone asks you to stop, it becomes a problem. OOC problems will result in a minimum of a two week suspension from matches, RPing, and OOC board priveledges. These problems will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
8. Any problems that arise with other people in the IWF when speaking on a messenger system should be handled in one way. Block the person that's giving you a problem immediately. As both members in the EC have witnessed serious problems arise in past federations, we will not allow problems to spread this way. If we hear about these problems, they will be dealt with on a case by case basis. More importantly, if you are having a problem with someone and you decide to paste your argument on to the boards, you will be fired immediately, no questions asked.
9. All IWF Champions must defend their titles at least once every two weeks, or twice a month. Failure to do this will result in the title being vacated, unless there are special circumstances that have been cleared with the EC. If the EC does not book you in a match to defend your title, it is your responsibility to request a match (which is the smarter choice, as you will be able to pick your own opponent, providing it is cleared by the EC).
10. Match winners are decided solely on roleplays. The only time a wrestler who has RPed better for a match will ever lose because of an angle will be if that wrestler informs the EC that they will take a loss because of an angle being worked.
11. Characters with special abilities/super powers are not allowed. While it is one thing to claim to be a superhero, God, Satan, or any other supernatural power, you may not actually show your character with any supernatural ability at shows or in roleplays. You can say you have the ability to fly or bench press 4000 pounds, but your character can not actually do it.
12. No OOC in RP Titles (ex: Prez Read, This is a PPV RP, etc)
13. It is YOUR responsibility to know these rules and check them often. ALL rules are subject to change at any moment. The E.C. will post notification of any changes made to the rules.
