The FDA "has approved SynergEyes' next-generation silicone hydrogel hybrid contact lenses for correcting hyperopic, myopic and astigmatic refractive error, including presbyopia, in aphakic and non-aphakic eyes, the company announced in a press release. SynergEyes plans to market the new hybrid technology as two separate contact lenses: the Duette hybrid contact lens for astigmatism, which is currently available in limited release, and the Duette multifocal lens for presbyopia," reports OSNSupersite.com.
