[  General Manager, Pioneer Valley Photovoltaics Cooperative, Western Mass;

                         former Director of Research & Environmental Planning, Northeast Utilities ]

 

[The main presentation, which will include an overview and a discussion of practical details, installation questions, and economic aspects, will be preceded

by a short Tutorial on the basics of Photovoltaics, and followed by an open discussion.   Those attending are invited to bring in their questions and ideas.]

DIRECTIONS: The location is on Asylum Avenue in West Hartford, between North Main Street and Trout Brook Ave. From Rte I-84 – Exit 43 – Turn RIGHT on to Park Rd – 50 yds -- Next Left on to Trout Brook Drive  -- go about one mile – cross Farmington Ave – go about 1 mile – turn LEFT on to Asylum Avenue – Ό mile – turn right into 1800 Asylum Ave --- park behind building – Rear Entrance – Go up two levels to Room 308 (at the end of the corridor).

From points North (Windsor, etc) – Rte 91 South – Exit 35-B – turn RIGHT on to Cottage Grove Rd – 2+ miles – Cottage Grove Rd becomes North Main Street – about 2 mi – turn LEFT on to Asylum Ave -- Ό mile -- turn left into 1800 Asylum Ave --- park behind building – Rear Entrance – Go up two levels to Room 308 (at the end of the corridor).
